Frequently asked questions about my courses

Government’s figures say 47 hours of driving tuition, as well as 20 private practice but this is an average and is also dependant on your ability and confidence.

I make sure we understand each other before we even get in the car. I’ll organise and book everything for you – theory test, practical test and lessons. After some driving time to see how you’re doing, I’ll structure the lessons to cover exactly the right skills so when the test comes around you feel completely prepared.

Absolutely. Many of my drivers are nervous before learning to drive but my intensive driving courses are structured to make you a safe, confident driver. My tuition is always done on an individual basis and will be set at your pace. We won’t rush your test or any driving element until you are comfortable. I’ll help you feel at ease with driving and pass your driving test with confidence, allowing you to enjoy your freedom.

This can change based on time of year and the local test centre where you book your test but we’ll book your test date and structure your intensive driving courses around it. I often look for cancellations to get earlier dates for your driving test.

UPDATE: The ongoing impact from COVID-19 means there is currently a 5-6 month delay in available test dates. I recommend booking a date and passing your theory test before we start lessons.
