What is a semi-intensive driving course?
Semi-intensive driving courses are similar to intensive driving courses, but the tuition is spread over a slightly longer period of time to make it easier to fit around your life, work or education commitments.
For example, you might take the 30-hour driving course option but book half day lessons rather than full day lessons. You’re still getting your licence quickly but a pace that works around you. Win, win.
My semi-intensive driving courses are tailored around you, whether you’re an fairly confident learner who’s mastered the basics but need help with manoeuvres or a first-time driver who’s nervous about taking to the road for the first time. Hi, I’m Mick Howell
I want you to enjoy your freedom to drive, safely and confidently.
As an experienced driving instructor, I can get you test-ready and confident even if you’ve failed before. I’ve already helped more than 1000 people pass their test.
I’m not like other companies that just take your money, do your lessons and leave you waiting weeks for a test date. I always make sure we book the dates first, then organise your lessons to work with the date. I’ll cover exactly the right skills so you feel completely prepared when the test comes around.

Absolutely. Many of my drivers are nervous before learning to drive but my intensive driving courses are structured to make you a safe, confident driver. My tuition is always done on an individual basis and will be set at your pace. We won’t rush your test or any driving element until you are comfortable. I’ll help you feel at ease with driving and pass your driving test with confidence, allowing you to enjoy your freedom.
This can change based on time of year and the local test centre where you book your test but we’ll book your test date and structure your intensive driving courses around it. I often look for cancellations to get earlier dates for your driving test.
